Alabama Transportation News - Road Projects, Work Zones, Infrastructure Updates
The Alabama Department of Transportation (AL DOT) published multiple transportation news items including road resurfacing projects on SR-13, SR-14, and US-80, bridge girder placement on US-82 in Coker, bridge widening on I-85 near Miles Creek, dynamic message sign installation on I-65, and opening of the SR-52 roundabout in Geneva County. The agency also promoted National Work Zone Awareness Week (April 20-24) to encourage safe driving in work zones.
