During the proceedings, the two Ministers will sign an agreement to strengthen political and diplomatic dialogue and strategic cooperation on foreign policy issues, including within the EU, the UN and NATO, and to reaffirm their shared support for Ukraine.

The Italy–Poland Strategic Forum will bring together over 150 participants, including institutional representatives, members of academia and think tanks, and representatives of the business community. Key topics for discussion will include energy security, migration, countering disinformation, the Western Balkans and Africa.

Tajani and Sikorski will also hold a bilateral meeting to discuss both bilateral and international issues. Particular attention will be devoted to strengthening the economic partnership, with a focus on the energy, defence and new technologies sectors. Italy–Poland trade increased in 2025, approaching EUR 37 billion, with Italian exports rising by 5.9%. Special attention will also be given to prospects for cooperation between Rome and Warsaw on connectivity and infrastructure, with particular reference to the Three Seas Initiative and the Central European Initiative.
