On 14 March 2026, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2026/696 1.

That Decision renews the restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for a further six months, until 15 September 2026. Decision (CFSP) 2026/696 also updates the information concerning 132 individuals and 77 entities set out in the Annex to Decision 2014/145/CFSP 2. Additionally, it deletes the entries for five deceased persons and two other persons from that Annex.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova (Republic of), Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
