On April 23, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced the initiation of antidumping duty (AD) investigations of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from Austria, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the initiation of a countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of OCTG from Austria.

Next Steps

  • The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is currently scheduled to issue its preliminary determination on or around May 18, 2026.  For more information related to the ITC’s timeline, please refer to the ITC’s calendar.
  • If the ITC issues an affirmative preliminary determination, Commerce would be scheduled to announce its preliminary determination on June 26, 2026, for the CVD investigation, and on September 10, 2026, for the AD investigation. These deadlines may be extended in accordance with the statute.
