The Enablement Service is to provide early intervention for people who are living with mental ill health, autism, learning disability, and physical disability such as acquired brain injury, and the Mental Health Drop-In Service is to provide prevention and early intervention for people who benefit from support to promote good mental health, preventing escalation into longer term difficulties.
The overarching aims are to:
Building on people's strengths and self-resilience
Promote choice and control
Improve people's quality of life
Improve financial resilience through encouraging people to gain support to see paid employment when this is appropriate
Support carers/family where appropriate
Prevent the need for long term care
Reduce hospital admission.
