Worcester City Council would like to commission a specialist company with appropriate experience, skills and competencies to design and implement improvements at the existing play facility where the equipment and surfacing are reaching end of life. The required outcomes will be:

• To extend and renew the existing play provision;

• To maximise the potential of the limited green space available;

• To meet the needs of the local community by creating an inclusive space for all;

• To support the Council aims as part of the Worcester Play Plan.

Mandatory accompanied site visits. Failure to carry out an accompanied site visit will result in a non-compliant bid and your tender will be rejected. Allocated site visit dates are 17th, 18th and 19th March.

The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.

To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.
