Multi-Purpose Training Facility RFSO - Department of National Defence
Summary
The Department of National Defence has amended the closing time for its Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for a Multi-Purpose Training Facility. The deadline for bid submissions is now March 18, 2026, at 14:00 EDT. Only holders of the Supply Arrangement Collective Military Training role playing and facilities are invited to bid.
What changed
The Department of National Defence (DND) has issued an amendment to its Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for a Multi-Purpose Training Facility, specifically for Collective Military Training role playing and facilities. The primary change is the clarification and amendment of the closing time for bid submissions to March 18, 2026, at 14:00 EDT. Bids submitted after this time will be declared non-responsive. This RFSO is exclusively open to existing Supply Arrangement holders; new offerors must qualify for the Supply Arrangement before being eligible to bid, and Canada will not extend the RFSO period to accommodate this qualification.
Compliance officers for companies holding the relevant Supply Arrangement must ensure their bids are submitted by the revised deadline of March 18, 2026, 14:00 EDT. Failure to meet this deadline will result in disqualification. Companies not currently holding the Supply Arrangement are advised that they cannot qualify for this specific RFSO and should pursue qualification for future opportunities if interested in providing similar services to the DND.
What to do next
- Ensure bid submissions for the Multi-Purpose Training Facility RFSO are received by March 18, 2026, 14:00 EDT.
- Verify Supply Arrangement qualification for companies not currently holding the Collective Military Training role playing and facilities SA.
Penalties
Bids submitted after 14:00 EDT on March 18, 2026, will be declared non-responsive.
