Description
The response time deadline is 14:00 EDT. The work requires delivery of enforcement services and other functions to ensure compliance with measures under the Fisheries Act and Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Wild Life Act, and the associated regulations, various fisheries management plans and departmental policies. These Fishery Guardian services are primarily focused on the protection of salmon and trout, but also to protect other freshwater marine species including American eel and Banded killifish, their habitat, and the public through support of the Canadian Shellfish Sanitation Program (CSSP). The services are anticipated to be delivered from April 01, 2026 to March 31, 2027 inclusive, with up to 3 additional 1-year option period(s).
