Description
This procurement is set aside for Indigenous businesses in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). The Department of Public Works requires cybersecurity professional services to support the modernization of cybersecurity operations at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). The Contractor will provide, on an “as‑and‑when‑requested” basis, specialized IT security expertise to modernize and strengthen cybersecurity processes, tools, and capabilities, including in response to new technologies such as cloud services and artificial intelligence. Required services include cybersecurity engineering, risk and vulnerability assessments, incident management, forensic analysis, technical writing, and the development of standardized requirements and artefacts. Resources will work collaboratively with PSPC technical staff to enhance departmental security operations while ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
This requirement is subject to Indigenous procurement exceptions under the applicable trade agreements (including the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and the Canada‑European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement). As such, trade agreement obligations do not apply to this requirement.
