What changed
NASA, under the Paperwork Reduction Act, renews its information collection for the Flight Analog Projects Crew Selection Questionnaire (OMB No. 2700-0174). The questionnaire is administered via a public website and web form to screen prospective crew and experiment subjects for FAP analog missions. The estimated annual respondent burden is 100 individuals at 15 minutes per response, totaling approximately 25 annual burden hours.
Individuals interested in participating in NASA analog missions — including Pressure Chamber Analog, Mars Exploration Analog, and related studies — should note this renewal and may submit comments by May 22, 2026. No substantive change to the collection's scope or method is indicated; this is a routine PRA renewal maintaining an existing OMB-approved information collection.
