Launch of new international adventure series, expanding the Go Jetters universe with local talent and global appeal
SINGAPORE – 12 FEB 2026
BBC Studios today announced Go Jetters Go!, a new series in the Go Jetters universe, supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA). This first-ever spin-off of the successful children’s franchise is set in Singapore and reflects a shared ambition to create globally appealing children’s content with strong local resonance.
This series was born from IMDA’s initiative to support international Intellectual Properties (IPs) that could be meaningfully localised. Go Jetters, a wholly owned BBC IP with a proven global track record, was selected for its international appeal and adaptability. Originally conceived as short-form content, the project evolved into a full series following development and commissioning by BBC Children’s and Education for CBeebies in the UK with IMDA’s and BBC Studios’ support.
Go Jetters Go! introduces Kym, a top Singaporean cadet, who is guided by original Go Jetters, Xuli, Kyan, Foz and Lars, on her global quest to locate the Go Jetters Cup and become a Go Jetter! From Mission HQ in Singapore, Kym is given Groovy Clues by Ubercorn to find G.O Stars hidden all around the world, which collectively lead to the Go Jetters Cup. To find the G.O Stars, Kym travels across continents discovering natural wonders, iconic landmarks and cultural treasures, all while fending off the antics of Grandmaster Glitch and his loyal Grimbots.

The series will be animated by UK-based Brighton Zoo Animation Studios, sister company of Blue Zoo, who previously worked on the original Go Jetters Series 2 and 3.
Go Jetters Go! features Singaporean actress and voice talent, Lim Shi-An, in her very first animation voicing top cadet Kym. Shi-An, who usually plays gritty dramatic live action roles for film and television (Mediacorp's Alienated, Come Closer and Tan Siyou's Amoeba), is enjoying the process of voice recording and bringing animated Kym to life.
With guidance from Singaporean Media Consultant, Leslie Lee, the series blends authentic Singaporean elements whilst ensuring it has mass global appeal for an international audience. Singaporean writers Lisa Teh and Debra Chong joined the UK-based writing team to flesh out culturally-rich stories.
Cecilia Pearson, Managing Director, BBC Studios Kids & Family, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with IMDA on Go Jetters Go! This partnership allows us to bring a fresh perspective to a much-loved brand, while celebrating Singapore’s culture and global outlook. Kym’s journey is one of discovery, teamwork and pride, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences around the world.”
We’re excited to partner with BBC Studios to expand the well-loved Go Jetters universe with Go Jetters Go!. As the first spin-off of a successful children’s series to be set in Singapore, the show puts our local culture and creativity on an international stage and brings Singapore stories to children and families around the world. It also celebrates our homegrown talent, who are contributing their distinctive voices and perspectives, and helps strengthen the creative capability of our media industry in Singapore.

Go Jetters Go! is expected to premiere in the UK and Singapore in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027. BBC Studios Kids & Family retains global distribution rights, with CBeebies as commissioning partner.
