NewEraEducation.com Cease and Desist Order for Unlicensed Money Transmission
The Arkansas Securities Commissioner issued a Cease and Desist Order against Neweraeducation.com for operating an unlicensed money transmission business in violation of the Arkansas Uniform Money Services Act. The Order was based on evidence that New Era facilitated cryptocurrency trading and transfers without obtaining required licensure from the Arkansas Securities Department. Staff documented that an Arkansas customer (AR1) was defrauded of over $1.4 million through a scheme involving wire transfers to Crypto.com, fake daily interest accrual displays, and demands for additional funds before withdrawal. The Commissioner ordered New Era to immediately cease and desist from engaging in money transmission activities in Arkansas.
EzyRemit Worldwide Inc. Cease and Desist Order
The Arkansas Securities Commissioner issued a Cease and Desist Order against EzyRemit Worldwide Inc. for operating an unlicensed money transmission business in Arkansas in violation of the Arkansas Uniform Money Services Act. The order requires EzyRemit to immediately cease and desist from money transmission activities until properly licensed or exempt. EzyRemit may request a hearing within 30 days.
New Horizon Asset Management LLC and Chad R. Amerson Consent Order
The Arkansas Securities Commissioner entered a consent order against New Horizon Asset Management LLC and Chad R. Amerson for conducting investment advisory business and collecting fees while unregistered from January 1 to February 25, 2025. Both parties admitted violations of Ark. Code Ann. § 23-42-301(c) and agreed to pay a fine of $5,000. NHAM and Amerson cooperated fully and represented they have implemented proper internal controls and supervisory procedures to ensure future compliance with annual renewal requirements.
Monument Traders Co. Pty Ltd et al. Cease and Desist Order for Securities Fraud
The Arkansas Securities Commissioner issued Cease and Desist Order No. S-24-0040-26-OR02 against Monument Traders Co. Pty Ltd, Windsor Advisors Group LLC, and Lance Brokaw for violations of the Arkansas Securities Act. The Commissioner found that respondents conducted an alleged investment scheme involving oil, gas, and gold option contracts targeting investors, while being unregistered with the Arkansas Securities Department and making no required securities registration or exemption filings. Respondents allegedly solicited investors through cold calls and received funds totaling at least $24,000 from two identified Arkansas and Florida investors.
Limited Agent Registration Approved for Ryan Bowell
The Arkansas Securities Commissioner approved a limited agent registration for Ryan Bowell (President/CEO of Grace Brethren Investment Foundation Inc., dba Grace Financial), waiving the Securities Industry Essentials Examination and specialized knowledge exam requirements. The registration permits Bowell to represent Grace Financial only in securities sales without commission-based compensation. The limited registration is effective until December 31, 2026.
