Southern Water District Rate Violation Investigation

The Kentucky Public Service Commission entered an Order establishing a procedural schedule for Case No. 2025-00233, an investigation into Southern Water & Sewer District and its individual commissioners for alleged assessment of an unapproved rate in violation of KRS 278.160. The Order sets procedural requirements including electronic filing pursuant to 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8, and notice requirements for any scheduled hearings. The compliance deadline for parties to request a public hearing or submit the matter for written record decision is May 15, 2026.
