380 MW Timmerman Power Plant Now Fully Operational

The natural gas-fired plant provides dispatchable power to the Texas grid, capable of powering over 100,000 homes during peak demand. This is the first Texas Energy Fund-supported project to come fully online.

Laronda Graf Appointed TRS Trustee by Governor Abbott

Governor Greg Abbott appointed Laronda Graf of Queen City as a new trustee to the Teacher Retirement System of Texas Board. Governor Greg Abbott appointed Clint Gunnels and reappointed Marsha Moberley to the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. Gunnels, a parole commissioner with over 33 years of criminal justice service, will serve a term expiring February 1. Moberley, the current board chair, is reappointed for a term expiring the same date. The Board makes parole decisions for Texas prison inmates, determines parole conditions, and advises the Governor on clemency matters.
