FISA Title VII Extension Through April 30, 2026
Congress has enacted H.R.8322, amending the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 to extend the authorities of Title VII of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 through April 30, 2026. The bill extends the repeal date of Title VII and related transition procedures previously set to expire two years after enactment of the Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act. The amendments take effect on the earlier of the date of enactment or April 19, 2026.
