GSA Adds Treasury Routine Use for Fraud Prevention Across 16 SORNs

GSA is proposing a new routine use for all its systems of records and government-wide SORNs connected to GSA payments, allowing disclosure of records to the Department of the Treasury for identifying, preventing, or recouping improper payments under Executive Order 14249 and OMB M-25-32. The modification affects 16 systems of records including travel charge card programs, SAM, and disbursement files. Comments are due May 22, 2026; the new routine use becomes effective 30 days after publication.
