The Georgia Real Estate Commission proposes rule changes affecting broker continuing education requirements and appraiser qualifications. The broker CE changes were approved by the Office of the Governor on August 14, 2024. The Georgia Appraisers Board has also posted proposed changes to experience requirements for appraisers. Both sets of changes are open for public comment and will take effect on July 1, 2025.
