FERC issued a notice that WBI Energy Transmission filed an application under Section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act for the Line Section 32 Expansion Project. Texas Eastern Transmission Requests Authorization to Decommission Offshore Pipeline Segment

FERC has published a notice that Texas Eastern Transmission, LP filed a prior notice request seeking authorization to decommission and abandon in place 13.45 miles of its 24-inch-diameter lateral Line 40-B-4-D segment 9888 located in federal waters in the Gulf of America near Louisiana. The estimated cost of the Offshore Abandonment Project is $39,600,000. The Commission is soliciting protests, motions to intervene, and comments from interested parties by June 9, 2026.

Environmental Assessment for Ameren-EMRT Big Hollow Natural Gas Pipeline Project

FERC staff has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Ameren-EMRT Big Hollow Project proposed by Enable Mississippi River Transmission, LLC. EMRT seeks authorization to construct a 9.6-mile, 20-inch diameter lateral natural gas pipeline and appurtenant facilities crossing Monroe County, Illinois to Jefferson County, Missouri to serve Ameren's Big Hollow Energy Center with approximately 200,000 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day. The EA concludes that approval would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting environmental quality.

PSC Dismisses Adrian Davis Complaint Against Kentucky Utilities Company

The Kentucky Public Service Commission dismissed Case No. 2025-00361 filed by Mr. Adrian Davis against Kentucky Utilities Company. The Commission found that Mr. Davis failed to establish a prima facie case, having not stated with sufficient certainty the alleged discrepancies in billing, financial retaliation, or intimidation. KU had previously advised Mr. Davis that documentation confirmed his bill was correct. The complaint is dismissed without further relief.
