North Education Council Position Announced
Wednesday March 25, 2026 The Commission is accepting applications for an Education Council member from the North District (Idaho, Lewis, Nez Perce, Clearwater, Latah, Benewah, Boundary, Shoshone, Kootenai and Bonner counties) for a 4-year term commencing July 14, 2026. Council members are appointed by the Commission and serve a four (4) year term.
The Education Council acts as an advisory group to the Commission and is responsible for real estate education policy and course content quality for all education courses approved by the Commission for promoting higher standards of practice in the real estate business. The Council recommends procedures or guidelines for certifying education courses, instructors and providers. Council members currently meet approximately four times a year.
Interested candidates should review the selection criteria contained in the Council's Bylaws. To apply, submit a letter of interest and resume to Melissa Ferguson, Education and Curriculum Program Supervisor (Melissa.Ferguson@DOPL.Idaho.gov), on or before 5:00 p.m. MT on June 22, 2026.
