This virtual hiring event offers job seekers the opportunity to connect online with employers statewide, explore company information and open positions, and even participate in same-day interviews. Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates statewide or through the Dakota Roots program, benefit from real-time interactions with potential employees, and save time and resources finding skilled employees. Registration is required for both job seekers and businesses. Visit https://dlr.sd.gov/localoffices/hiring_events/virtual.aspx, find the Statewide Virtual Hiring Event, and click the appropriate registration link. Although registration is open until the day of the event, early registration is recommended to gain access to user guides and resources on the virtual platform in advance. Job seekers needing help with a resume or cover letter before the event can call 605- 773-3372 to be connected with a job advisor.
