The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) will host a Speak Up, Texas! event in Nacogdoches on Friday, April 10.

TDI Commissioner Amanda Crawford will talk about the home and auto insurance market, tips for shopping for insurance, and how TDI can help Texans.

“I’m excited to meet with Texans and hear their solutions to strengthen and improve the insurance market,” said Crawford.

The event at the The Fredonia Hotel will be held from 2:30 – 4 p.m.

Texans can also give TDI their ideas for making home and auto insurance work better at www.tdi.texas.gov/speakuptexas/index.html.

Gov. Greg Abbott appointed Crawford as insurance commissioner in February.
