Board Meeting Agenda – April 9, 2026, 10:00 AM, Sacramento
Summary
CA PERB has published its regular board meeting agenda for April 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Sacramento and via Zoom. The agenda includes roll call, adoption of February 2026 minutes, public comment, staff reports from the Executive Director and five divisions, and closed session deliberation on docket cases, personnel, litigation, and injunctive relief. Old business items include approval requests for disability accommodation rulemaking and miscellaneous case processing procedures.
What changed
The agenda announces two regulatory matters under Old Business: (1) the Division of Administrative Law will request Board approval to submit disability-related accommodation regulations to the Office of Administrative Law for formal rulemaking, and (2) the Office of General Counsel will request approval to submit miscellaneous case processing procedures for final OAL approval. Both items are approval requests only; the specific regulatory text is attached and not reproduced in the agenda. Public employers and employee representatives should note these proceedings as they may affect future PERB case processing and accommodation request procedures.
CA PERB conducts regular public meetings to receive staff reports and act on administrative matters. The meeting is open to public attendance in person in Sacramento or via Zoom/teleconference, with an opportunity for public comment on non-agenda issues. Parties with interest in PERB regulatory proceedings may wish to monitor outcomes of the Old Business items regarding disability accommodation and case processing rulemaking packages.
