NYSIF FEIN Update for Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits

NYSIF has updated its Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) from prior numbers to 13-3098552 effective July 2024. All parties submitting or receiving payments related to workers' compensation or disability benefits/paid family leave must update their records accordingly. NYSIF announced a 28% decrease in its disability benefit premium rate for 2026, reducing from $24.75 to $17.68 annually per employee. The $60.00 minimum premium remains unchanged. NYSIF also launched a new mobile app providing policyholders real-time access to policy information, monthly statements, bill payment, and certificate management.
