Abstract

A system for delivering medical gas, such as supplemental oxygen, to a subject includes a positioner and a diffuser. The positioner includes a positioning wall with an aperture that receives and may couple to a proximal portion of the diffuser. The system may also include a pillowcase with one or more fasteners that hold the positioner and a diffuser coupled thereto at a desired location and orientation over a pillow where a subject who is to receive medical gas will place their head. The pillowcase may receive two positioners and associated diffusers. Methods of administering medical gas and methods for maintaining medical gas delivery systems are also disclosed.
