USPTO Patent Application: Negative-Pressure Accessory for Instrument
Summary
The USPTO has published a new patent application (US20260083886A1) for a negative-pressure accessory designed for use with negative-pressure instruments. The application details a device that includes a cup body and a pressure-sensing module to monitor negative pressure within the cup.
What changed
This document is a publication of a new patent application filed with the USPTO, specifically application number US20260083886A1, titled 'Negative-pressure accessory structure of negative-pressure instrument'. The application describes an accessory connected to a negative-pressure instrument via a wire and suction pipe, featuring a cup body with a joint and an integrated pressure-sensing module. This module detects negative pressure within the cup and transmits the signal to the instrument body for determination of the pressure value.
As this is a patent application publication, it does not impose immediate regulatory obligations or compliance deadlines on regulated entities. However, it represents a new development in medical device technology that may influence future product design, manufacturing, and intellectual property strategies within the medical device sector. Companies involved in developing or manufacturing negative-pressure instruments or related accessories should be aware of this filing for competitive intelligence and potential patent landscape analysis.

Abstract
A negative-pressure accessory of a negative-pressure instrument is connected to an instrument body through a wire and a suction pipe. The negative-pressure accessory includes a cup body and a pressure-sensing module. The cup body includes a joint connected to one end of the suction pipe. The pressure-sensing module is disposed in the cup body and communicating to the instrument body. When the instrument body sucks an air in the cup body, the pressure-sensing module senses the air flowing therethrough to obtain a negative-pressure signal in the cup body, and the pressure-sensing module transmits the negative-pressure signal to the instrument body to determine a negative-pressure value in the cup body.
