Multi-needle delivery assembly patent granted April 7
Summary
USPTO granted patent US12594407B2 to Beijing BOE Technology Development Co., Ltd. for a preparation delivery assembly with multiple needles of varying lengths. The assembly features a first substrate, second substrate, and side walls defining a chamber, with needles arranged on the second substrate surface and in communication with the chamber. The patent contains 15 claims and was filed on June 16, 2022.
What changed
USPTO issued patent US12594407B2 to Beijing BOE Technology Development Co., Ltd. covering a multi-needle preparation delivery assembly with at least two needles of different lengths arranged on a second substrate surface, where needles communicate with a chamber defined between two substrates. The device includes channels perpendicular to substrates for delivering preparations and guiding them into the chamber.
For medical device manufacturers developing injection or delivery systems, this patent establishes intellectual property rights held by a Chinese technology company. Companies working on similar multi-needle delivery technologies should assess licensing needs or design alternatives to avoid infringement. The patent's broad CPC classifications spanning A61M device categories indicate protection across multiple delivery mechanism implementations.
What to do next

Abstract
A preparation delivery assembly includes: a first substrate, a second substrate, and at least two needles of different lengths. Two side walls are provided between the first and second substrates to define a first chamber. At least one first channel that is in communication with the first chamber is provided in the second substrate in a direction perpendicular to the second substrate. And the needles are arranged on a surface of the second substrate, and each needle is in communication with the first chamber to deliver the preparation. A third channel is provided in the first substrate in a direction perpendicular to the first substrate, and one end of the third channel is in communication with the first chamber so as to guide the preparation introduced from the other end of the third channel into the first chamber.
