Maryland adds RAD drug data to overdose tracking
The Maryland Department of Health announced the addition of Rapid Analysis of Drugs (RAD) program data to the Maryland Overdose Data Dashboard. The RAD program, launched in 2021, has tested over 6,000 samples from 15 jurisdictions and is used to identify emerging substances like xylazine and medetomidine in the drug supply.
