BOE Intelligent Triage Patents Patient-Doctor Matching System
Summary
USPTO granted patent US12603169B2 to BOE TECHNOLOGY GROUP CO., LTD. on April 14, 2026. The patent covers an intelligent triage method using disease information vectorization and a matching degree calculation model to recommend doctors to outpatients. The system analyzes patient disease vectors against doctor vectors extracted from a doctor knowledge graph to calculate matching degrees for patient-doctor recommendations.
What changed
USPTO granted patent US12603169B2 to BOE TECHNOLOGY GROUP CO., LTD. for an intelligent triage and patient-doctor matching system. The patent describes methods for vectorizing patient disease information and doctor profiles from a knowledge graph, then calculating matching degrees using a matching model to recommend appropriate doctors to outpatients.
For technology companies and healthcare informatics developers, this patent establishes intellectual property rights in AI-based patient-doctor matching systems. Companies developing similar intelligent triage or doctor recommendation systems should consider potential infringement implications and may need to design around these claims or seek licensing arrangements with BOE TECHNOLOGY GROUP CO., LTD.

Abstract
The present disclosure provides an intelligent triage method and device, a storage medium and an electronic device. The method includes: obtaining disease information of a target outpatient, and obtaining a vector of the target outpatient according to the disease information; vectorizing each doctor in a doctor knowledge graph to obtain a plurality of doctor vectors; and calculating matching degrees between the vector of the target outpatient and the plurality of doctor vectors using a matching degree calculation model, and recommending a doctor for the target outpatient according to magnitudes of the matching degrees.
