Ohio Medical Board Schedules April Public Meetings

The State Medical Board of Ohio has published its April 2026 public meeting schedule. Meetings include the Dietetics Advisory Council (April 6, virtual, 2 p.m.), multiple committee sessions and the Board Meeting (April 8, in-person at Rhodes State Office Tower), and the Acupuncture Advisory Council (April 15, virtual, 12 p.m.). Only the April 8 Board Meeting will be livestreamed on the Board's YouTube channel; committee meetings and advisory council sessions will not be broadcast. Members of the public may access agendas and meeting links via the Board's website.

Ohio Med Board Releases Two Podcast Episodes Featuring Medical Students, Ketamine

The Ohio Medical Board released two new episodes of its Med Board Pulse podcast on April 15, 2026. The first episode features three Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine medical students discussing their transition from medical school to residency as resident physicians. The second episode features Board Member Amol Soin, MD, explaining the use of ketamine in medical practice. The podcast is available via the Med Board Pulse landing page.
