DPH Standing Order 2025-01 Allows Pharmacy Personnel to Dispense COVID-19 Vaccine Through 2026
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has issued Standing Order 2025-01, updating prior COVID-19 vaccine standing orders for the 2025-2026 season. The order authorizes all qualified pharmacy personnel at Massachusetts pharmacies to dispense and administer COVID-19 vaccine to all eligible persons. The Board of Registration in Pharmacy published the notice on September 3, 2025, with links to both the DPH Standing Order and a Model Standing Order for pharmacy reference.
