Abstract

A method for presence monitoring and environmental monitoring in a hospital room is provided. The method comprises
conducting a detection of a person and/or a device in the hospital room to provide presence monitoring by detecting a marker of the person and/or the device;conducting a measurement of at least one parameter in the hospital room, in order to enable environmental monitoring; andconducting a control of a device provided inside and/or outside the hospital room, which is a lighting array, whereby the control is conducted depending on the performed detection of the person and/or the device and/or depending on the performed measurement of the parameter.
