Summary
UKHSA published annual HIV surveillance data for 2025 covering HIV testing, PrEP, PEP, new diagnoses, AIDS, deaths, and care outcomes across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Data tables include demographic breakdowns, geographic region analysis, and key population statistics from 2015 to 2024. A slide set for presentational use is also available.
What changed
UKHSA published its annual HIV surveillance data release containing multiple ODS data tables covering HIV testing, PrEP need and use, PEP activity, new HIV diagnoses, AIDS, deaths, and people in care from 2015 to 2024. The publication includes England-specific data and UK-wide breakdowns by country, region, and key population.
Healthcare providers, public health authorities, and researchers should note this is an informational data release for epidemiological monitoring. The data informs public health planning and resource allocation but does not create new compliance obligations for affected parties.
