Colorado public health officials have confirmed a measles case in a Broomfield County resident who had not received the MMR vaccine and has no known connection to recent exposures or out-of-state travel. The lack of a clear infection source suggests unidentified measles cases may be occurring in or traveling through the area. Seven exposure locations have been identified across Broomfield, Westminster, Lafayette, and Louisville with dates ranging from February 19-25, 2026. Individuals who were at listed locations during specified times should monitor for symptoms for 21 days after exposure and contact healthcare providers before visiting if symptoms develop.
