CE Broker Audit for Psychologist Licensees
Summary
The North Dakota State Board of Psychology Examiners announced that continuing education audits for renewing psychologist licensees will now be conducted using CE Broker technology. Licensees selected in the 10% CE audit required by statute must submit their audit information through the CE Broker platform. Licensees are not required to maintain CE records on CE Broker generally, but audit submissions must be made through the platform. Dr. Paul Kolstoe serves as the Board's technical assistant for CE Broker support.
What changed
The North Dakota Psychology Board has implemented a new process for conducting continuing education audits using CE Broker technology, effective for renewals in even years (2024 onward). Licensees selected for the mandatory 10% audit are now required to submit their CE documentation through the CE Broker platform rather than previous methods. The Board has designated Dr. Paul Kolstoe as technical assistant to help licensees navigate the system.
Psychologist licensees in North Dakota who are selected for the CE audit must prepare scanned CE materials for upload to CE Broker. While general CE record-keeping on CE Broker is optional, audit submissions are mandatory for selected licensees. The Board notes that cooperation with this new process is appreciated due to significant labor savings in reviewing compliance.
