How long does an application take?

We aim to acknowledge your application and let you know if there is information missing within 3 working days. It may take longer during peak periods. The decision to offer Stage 1 can take up to 4 weeks from receiving a valid and complete application.

If you have submitted an application, you will receive emails relating to your WCPG application from the following email address: forestry@ukemail.icasework.com. If you are expecting correspondence in relation to a WCPG application, please check your junk folder and accept emails from this address. If you receive emails from this address, please reply to it directly.

Stage 1 and stage 2 offers

Once we’ve approved your initial application, we make a stage 1 offer. We will ask you to complete new sections in your WCPG application and plan at this stage.

Do not start work on your project until you have received and accepted the relevant stage offer.

You may receive a stage 2 offer if we approve stage 1. We will then ask you to complete more new sections in your WCPG application and plan.

During these stages we send your WCPG application and plan back to you to complete the new sections. Refer to the document Sample WCPG application and plan for stage 1 and stage 2 to see what we will ask you during each stage.

If you start any work before a grant offer is agreed, we may not approve it for funding (see terms and conditions).
