Top-Four Primary and Ranked-Choice Voting Initiative Advances to Idaho Ballot

Idaho Secretary of State has advanced the Top-Four Primary and Ranked-Choice Voting Initiative to the November 2024 General Election ballot. The initiative, filed by Idahoans for Open Primaries, proposes replacing party-specific primaries with an open system where all candidates appear on a single ballot regardless of party affiliation, with the top four vote-getters advancing. Idahoans for Open Primaries Initiative Qualifies for November 2024 Ballot
