The purpose of this supplemental appropriation bill is to increase an existing item of appropriation in the aforesaid account for the designated spending unit for expenditure during the fiscal year 2026.A total of $3,000,000 increase in spending authority shall be used for operational expenses and for personal services and employee benefits.A total (up to) $1,000,000 increase in spending authority in the agricultural fees fund shall be used to purchase necessary software and program related expenses as indicated in SB985. The WV purchasing process and RFP cannot be completed until authorized in this bill.
