Summary

The Land Transport Authority of Singapore has made the Active Mobility (Footpaths — Temporary Discontinuation) (Singapore T100) Order 2026 under section 7 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, published in Subsidiary Legislation Supplement No. S 248 on 24 April 2026. The Order temporarily discontinues specific footpaths delineated in Map 1, Map 2, and Map 3 in the First Schedule, with dates and hours specified in the Second Schedule. Affected footpaths along the Singapore T100 route will be closed to pedestrians, cyclists, and personal mobility device users during the stated periods.

“Each of the footpaths specified in the first column of the Second Schedule is temporarily discontinued as a footpath on the dates and during the hours specified opposite in the second column.”

What changed

The Order defines three categories of footpaths (Map 1, Map 2, and Map 3 footpaths) based on their delineation in the First Schedule, and temporarily discontinues each as a footpath on the dates and during the hours specified in the Second Schedule. This is a routine traffic management measure for the Singapore T100 event, not a permanent change to footpath status. Affected users of the designated footpaths — including pedestrians, cyclists, and personal mobility device users — should check the Second Schedule for specific closure dates and hours. The closures are time-limited and revert once the specified period ends.

For compliance purposes, users planning travel along the Singapore T100 route should identify which Map category applies to their intended footpath and verify the applicable closure window in the Second Schedule. Alternative routes or travel times may be necessary during closure periods.
