Premier Burt meets Prime Minister of Luxembourg

The Premier and Minister of Finance, the Hon. David Burt, JP, MP, visited Luxembourg yesterday, 24 March, to conduct a series of high-level meetings with senior government officials, financial institutions, and industry leaders, advancing Bermuda's interests in international finance, insurance, and investment.
At the governmental level, the Premier met with Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg and Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance. These meetings provided an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations, discuss matters of international finance, and highlight Bermuda's track record as a compliant, transparent, and well-regulated international business jurisdiction.
Premier Burt also met with Ioannis Tsakiris, Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), to explore opportunities for technical support and investment partnerships.
Additionally, the Premier held a meeting with Nicolas Limbourg, President, and Marc Hengen, Managing Director, of the Luxembourg Insurance and Reinsurance Association (ACA).
