What changed

The Kansas Consensus Estimating Group revised State General Fund revenue projections for fiscal years 2026 and 2027 on April 20, 2026. The revisions incorporate estimated impacts of all 2026 legislation signed into law through that date. Any legislation enacted after April 20, 2026 will be addressed in a separate legislative adjustments report. This is a routine fiscal forecast update rather than a binding regulatory action. State agencies and local entities dependent on SGF allocations should monitor for the forthcoming detailed memo containing the economic forecast and discussion of factors influencing individual source estimates.

The document does not create compliance obligations for private entities. It is informational fiscal planning material that may be relevant for government contractors, vendors with state contracts, or entities anticipating state budget impacts on procurement.
