Year-end Candidate Committee Reports Due Jan 20, 2026

The Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board announced that all open and active statewide and legislative candidate committees must file their 2025 year-end campaign finance reports by January 20, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The deadline is adjusted from January 19 due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day falling on that date. Reports must cover all financial activity from the committee's last filed report through December 31, 2025. Committees unsure of their specific reporting requirements are directed to contact the board at 515-281-4028 or ethicsboard@iowa.gov.

Iowa Ethics Board Meeting, Advisory Opinions and Formal Complaints, April 1, 2026

The Iowa Ethics Board will hold a public meeting on April 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Jessie Parker Building Conference Room in Des Moines, Iowa. The agenda includes 13 formal complaints (25-FC-09 through 26-FC-1119), 3 advisory opinions (26-AO-1040, 26-AO-1096, 26-AO-1103), and 6 waiver requests.
