What changed

The announcement promotes an educational webinar on condominium management topics rather than implementing new regulatory requirements. Session topics include proper document request compliance to avoid penalties from the Regulated Industries Complaints Office, key considerations for selecting management companies, and directors and officers insurance issues. Condominium owners and community association stakeholders may benefit from attending, though participation is voluntary and no compliance obligations are imposed by this announcement.

Affected parties including condominium owners, association board members, and property management professionals gain access to informational resources on compliance and best practices. The event recording will be made available on CAI Hawai'i and Real Estate Branch Condorama websites following the presentation, extending reach beyond the live session.
