Summary

The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) published a 30-day notice requesting public comments on extending OMB approval for the Personal Identification Form (DFC-006, OMB No. 3015-0010). The form supports DFC's Know Your Customer due diligence procedures. The agency received no comments during the initial 60-day notice period. This extension without change applies to business entities, not-for-profit institutions, and individuals with significant relationships to DFC-supported projects, affecting approximately 975 respondents annually with a total estimated burden of 975 hours.

What changed

DFC is seeking OMB approval to extend the Personal Identification Form (DFC-006) for an additional three years under the Paperwork Reduction Act. This is a routine administrative renewal with no substantive changes to the information collection requirements. The form collects personal identification information as part of DFC's Know Your Customer procedures and due diligence review for parties with significant relationships to agency-supported projects. The agency received zero comments during the 60-day notice period published January 22, 2026 (91 FR 2750).

Compliance teams should note that no new obligations are being imposed. The comment period closes May 29, 2026. Entities involved in DFC-financed projects who may be required to complete the Personal Identification Form should prepare for continued use of this collection. There are no changes to reporting frequency (once per party per project) or estimated burden (1 hour per response).
