The program supports the delivery of integrated packages of primary health care addressing high burden health priorities, including communicable diseases such as HIV; reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (including family planning, immunisation and cervical cancer); and selected non communicable and nutrition related conditions. It also provides enabling support for district planning, supervision, outreach, facility connectivity and community governance, alongside targeted catalytic grants—such as a Health Innovation Fund—to strengthen Provincial Health Authorities through innovation, local problem solving and system improvements.
