IDPD takes place annually on the 28th and is an internationally recognised day for a global effort to empower individuals in asserting their right to privacy and in turn encourage public and private bodies to respect privacy, safeguard data and enable trust. This conference will bring together key stakeholders to discuss why the right to privacy matters, by tackling issues on compliance with POPIA, revisiting the basics to comply with the law, unpacking the principles of data privacy and tapping into the evolution of POPIA and impact on the public. It will be an excellent opportunity to engage with industry leaders, share insights and best practices, and collaborate on strategies that shape the future of data protection and data privacy.
