(C/2026/2321)
CROATIA
Article 177 of the Aliens Act (Official Gazette, No 133/20, 114/22, 151/22, 40/25) lays down an obligation on legal and natural persons who provide accommodation to third-country nationals on short-term stay to register their accommodation within one day from the arrival of the third-country national for accommodation. The same obligation applies to healthcare institutions, tourist board offices and providers of mooring services in ports when third-country nationals are accommodated on a vessel. If the stay of a third-country national cannot be registered in the manner indicated above, then the third-country national has to register his short-term stay himself within two days from entering into the Republic of Croatia or from changing the place of accommodation.
