Members of the Bailiwick Commission are making their first visit to the islands over four days next week.
The Commissioners will be visiting Guernsey on the 29th and 30th April, then travelling to Sark on the 30 th April, spending the night there, and then moving on to Alderney on for the 1 st and 2 nd May.
Since its launch in March 2026, the Commission has planned to visit the islands to meet the individual communities first-hand, in order to better understand the islands and the issues pertinent to their relationships.
Each Government has prepared for the visit to their respective island, including arrangements to meet the community. The Commission will hold public engagement sessions in each island to allow people to speak to them directly. The Commissioners have also arranged specific meetings with politicians and other key stakeholders.
Details of the public engagement sessions are listed below and will be published on the Commission website. This engagement is in addition to the public survey by the Commission, which is open until 15 May. This can be accessed at: gov.gg/bailiwickcommission-survey.
The Public engagement sessions will include a short introduction from the Commission's Chair, followed by the opportunity for any questions from the public about the Commission's work. The sessions will be held on:
