ATLANTA, April 8, 2019 – The Georgia Public Service Commission reminds all Georgians that April is National Safe Digging Month. The law requires anyone who plans to excavate where underground utilities are located to call 8-1-1 before they dig. The process is simple and can prevent major damage that can endanger and inconvenience our communities and cause economic disruption. Damage from excavation activities to gas and water pipelines, along with sewer systems and buried distribution power lines, remains a leading cause of utility incidents resulting in death or injury.

Atlanta, April 2, 2019 - The Georgia Public Service Commission (Commission) will begin its scheduled review of the Georgia Power Company 2016 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) in Dockets 42310 and 42311 on Monday April 8, 2016 at 9 a.m. The hearing will continue on Tuesday April 9, 2016 and on Wednesday April 10, 2016 (if necessary.) The hearing in Room 110 at 244 Washington Street, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia.

| 2/19/2019 | ###### Commission Approves Settlement and the Combining of Vogtle Construction Monitoring Reports 20 and 21

ATLANTA, February 19, 2019 – The Georgia Public Service Commission today approved by a vote of 4-1 a settlement agreement in the Georgia Power 19 th Vogtle Construction Monitoring Report for the reporting period of January 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018. This decision closes out the 19 th Semi-annual Vogtle Construction Monitoring (VCM) Report in Docket 29849. Voting for the stipulation were Commissioners Lauren “Bubba” McDonald, Tim Echols, Chuck Eaton and Jason Shaw. Voting no was Commissioner Tricia Pridemore.

ATLANTA, February 19, 2019 – Commissioner Tricia Pridemore issued this statement today following her dissenting vote on the stipulation to resolve the 19 th Vogtle Construction Monitoring (VCM) Report. Because the nature of a Stipulation requires Commissioners to adopt ALL sections in their entirety – without deletion or change, I am a NO vote on Docket #29849 – per the agreed upon Stipulation by Georgia Power Company and the Public Service Commission Public Interest Advisory Staff.

All hearings will begin at 9 a.m. in the Commission hearing room, Room 100, 244 Washington Street, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30334.
