PURA Releases 2025 Annual Report

Governor Lamont Declares April 2026 Call Before You Dig Month

Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has issued a proclamation declaring April 2026 as 'Call Before You Dig Month' to raise awareness about the requirement to contact Call Before You Dig, Inc. (CBYD) at least two full business days before any excavation using power or mechanized equipment. The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) oversees CBYD activity statewide and may investigate and impose civil penalties for violations of CBYD statutes and regulations.
