The Delaware Public Service Commission (the "Commission") will conduct a public evidentiary hearing in the above-captioned case (as further explained below) at the following time and location:

In its Application, Veolia seeks an increase in annual operating revenues of $15,917,913, or an increase of 44.51% over existing base rates. The proposed increase includes $350,000 of existing Distribution System Improvement Charge ("DSIC") which will be rolled into base rates. On March 4, 2025, a Commission hearing examiner conducted an in-person and virtual public comment session for the purpose of taking public comment regarding the Application. An evidentiary hearing regarding the Application was conducted on January 28, 2026, January 29, 2026, January 30, 2026, February 2, 2026, and February 3, 2026. During the evidentiary hearing, the Hearing Examiner granted a request to continue the evidentiary hearing to hear arguments regarding Veolia's proposed post-test period PFAS O&M expense recovery mechanism once the parties have had the opportunity to file additional written testimony. The evidentiary hearing will be continued on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:00 am. Each party to this proceeding will have the right to present evidence including through witness testimony. This hearing will be open to the public but only parties and the sole intervenor in the docket will be entitled to be heard. After the hearing, the Parties will present written arguments to the Hearing Examiner who will then issue a recommendation to the Commission. The Commission will thereafter make its decision on this matter on the basis of the record evidence taken at that hearing. The Commission may approve or reject, in whole or in part, and Hearing Examiner recommendation, and may approve a different method for allocating any increase that it may grant.
